Club Sports Assistant Action Coach

The assistant coach of the Shooting - Action team is responsible for the assisted oversight of the day-to-day functions of the team. The assistant coach is responsible for fulfilling needs assigned to them by the head coach.

They are to understand and adhere to the Club Sports policies and procedures while attending department meetings and training sessions as needed. The qualified applicant must show strong interpersonal communication skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the head coach with team practices and competitions. Assist with the planning, organizing, and implementing team practices.

Assist with the completion of all necessary league eligibility forms, rosters, and coaching materials. Assist in recruitment efforts. Assist with team needs as assigned by the head coach. Works effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU's mission.

QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS

Four-year college degree, 1+ years coaching at the high school or collegiate level. Strong leadership experience is required.

Well-developed communication skills. Current coaching certifications and/or licenses with the respective governing body is required.
