The Challenge:

As a Cloud architect, you know how to build a Cloud-based technical architecture that meets customer needs and takes advantage of Cloud capabilities. What if you could use your Cloud architecture skills to improve the healthcare industry? We need you to help us develop Cloud-based solutions to some of a health client's toughest challenges.

As a Cloud architect on our team, you'll support efforts as a hands-on solution architect and leverage expertise in architecting, designing, and building medium- to large-scale enterprise systems with a focus on infrastructure and data center transformation. You'll recommend tools and capabilities based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on premise, Cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You'll learn how to help customers overcome their most difficult challenges in Cloud migration from an experienced team. You'll work with the health team to ensure standards are met as you guide them through Cloud migration. This is an opportunity to use the latest Cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your customer's environment using current Cloud capabilities. You'll be able to gain experience in Cloud computing technologies while developing critical systems for the healthcare Industry. You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience in a technical consulting, solution architect, or presales engineering role

  • 8+ years of experience in designing, implementation, or consulting with distributed applications

  • 5+ years of experience with building large-scale enterprise architecture solutions

  • Experience with building, delivering, and managing Cloud IaaS environments using IaaS platforms, including Rackspace, AWS, Azure, HP, Citrix, Eucalyptus, and VMware

  • Knowledge of development methodologies and more than one of the following languages: .NET, Java, PHP, Perl, Python, or Ruby

  • Knowledge of DevOps situations and technologies, including Chef, Puppet, CFEngine, Zookeeper, or Capistrano

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Active Directory a plus

  • Experience with implementing Web services, including SOAP and RESTful

  • Knowledge of FedRAMP, ATO, and the implications of C&A and SA&A

  • Amazon Certified Solutions Architect, Associate, or MCSD Azure Solutions Architect Certification
