Department description:

Financial Services Cloud practice for many years has been providing digital solutions for our clients and building scalable, secure and experience-oriented systems. We transform applications into more modern approach, like microservices and introduce green field ideas by choosing best technology and architectural stack.

We cooperate with European banks and financial institutions. Our clients come from national and commercial sector.

Hundreds of our employees explore broad financial world creating new payment solutions, trading platforms, systems for financial risk calculations or banknote transport optimization. We also have the opportunity to implement innovative Big Data platforms and blockchain technology.

We are involved in every stage of software development, so we maintain high software development standards and good practices. We use Agile methodology (Kanban, Scrum and SAFe) and Cloud-based technologies (like AWS, Azure and GCP). We code a lot in Java and .NET and use DevOps tools to deliver automated environments, but you could also try JavaScript or get to know Kotlin in our projects.

Your future tasks:

• Design and implement cloud-based solutions that align with client's business objectives and technical requirements.

• Assess current infrastructure, applications, and workloads to determine the best approach for migration to cloud environments.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define architectural principles, and develop solution designs that optimise performance, scalability, security and cost effectiveness.

• Provide guidance on selecting appropriate cloud service and providers, architecting hybrid or multi-cloud environments and integrating legacy systems with cloud-native technologies.

• Work closely with project managers, governance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that the solution architecture meets quality standards, compliance requirements and project timelines.

• Contribute to risk management, troubleshooting, and optimisation efforts to maximise the benefits of cloud adoption.

Our Requirements:

• You can design and develop complete business solutions,
• You have at least 4 years hands on experience with building cloud solutions,
• You have at least 6 years of commercial experience in creating enterprise systems based on .NET or Java technologies,
• You have practical experience with all SDLC phases and with DevOps approach,
• You have experience with operational maintenance process in the cloud,
• You use SOLID principles, design patterns and design practices,
• You have an engineering degree or a master's degree in Computer Science or similar area,
• You speak English fluently and you are willing to communicate with customer directly,
• You are committed and able to work in a team, with the willingness to develop and learn.

Nice to have:

• Experience in designing GCP based cloud solutions,
• Experience with defining network architecture,
• Experience with defining security architecture,
• Having one of the cloud certifications (e.g. Professional Cloud Architect),
• General knowledge of modern frontend and backend technologies,
• Being familiar with regulatory requirements in financial market.
