Cloud Security Solution ArchitectJob Description

  • Responsible for researching and recommending specific systems, applications, data, or process designs for very large or complex cloud infrastructure solutions.

  • In instances where the solution does not exist, they are relied upon to invent a unique solution.

  • They design, develop, and analyze overall architecture to determine that hardware, software and data architecture solutions meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security needs.

  • As well as lead on architectural governance, decisions related to projects, and participate as part of a cross functional architecture decision group both collaboratively within Intel and as an externally regarded leader in the space.

  • Main function will be to work across key Intel groups and ecosystem security leaders to architect, design, and deliver proof of concept for next generation security technologies and solutions for the cloud ex: FaaS, Security Analytics and Block chain.

  • Addition responsibilities include developing SAS, working with development teams to ensure SAS compliance and influence ecosystem through strategic partnership including standards bodies, industry events and conferences.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 6+ years in distributed systems & large scale data center/cloud infrastructure as an architect and solution developer.

  • 6+ years of experience in the following areas-

  • Large scale machine learning and microservices.

  • Development C/C++ or Java on Linux/Windows.

  • Development process and tools.

Additional Preferred Qualifications-

  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.

  • Experience in virtualization/containers is a plus.

The Platform Architecture and Solution (PASE) team is a team within Intel's VTT Software and Solutions Organization (SWS) responsible for platform/system software definition and architecture for Intel's GPU platforms. We are seeking for a Platform and Solutions Architect to join our team. Successful candidate will work in a cross-geo team of high performing architects, working with other organizations in Intel from PC Client to Internet of Things to Data Centers, to build up domain relevant workloads, lead SW architecture definition for system and platform and work with customers and business units on customization of the software architecture where needed. Responsibilities will include * Working with Intel's various Business Units (BU) to engaging customers on deep dive GPU solutions * Working with BU Solution Architects to define workloads with respect to discrete GPU to meet customer and market demands * Internalizes (documents, owns, trains) the workloads for consumption by VTT SWS * Analyze industry direction and trends and ensure that discrete GPU provides differentiation to customers * Working with domain technologists, evaluating feasibility of Software Landing Zone (LZ) requirements and Grade LZ for discrete GPU platforms * Contributes significantly to Product Requirement Documents creation detailing requirements, identifying components, allocating requirements * Drive Software Architecture Specification and documentation across multiple architecture teams for the discrete GPU Platforms * Drives consistent creation of the Software Architecture Specification across IP teams for platform. * Support Platform Execution through to release with Architecture support to resolve opens and issues as they arise.
