Required Skills

• Utilize AWS monitoring and security services, including AWS GuardDuty, AWS WAF, AWS Shield, and AWS Security Hub, to ensure the security of cloud environments.
• Manage and address vulnerability and compliance findings using tools such as Tenable, Twistlock, OpenSCAP, Anchore, WebInspect, and DbProtect.
• Support federal clients by conducting cyber reconnaissance to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Handle POAM remediation, maintain system documents, and ensure compliance with System Security Plans (SSPs), Concept of Operations (CONOPs), and other related documents.
• Provide guidance to product teams on the implementation of security controls and the remediation of findings from technical testing and manual assessments.
• Assist the cloud platform team in maintaining compliance with required reviews according to their SSP, including access control lists, configuration changes, and approved change requests.
• Leverage your SOC experience to enhance security operations and incident response capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with AWS monitoring and security services (e.g., AWS GuardDuty, AWS WAF, AWS Shield, AWS Security Hub).
• Experience managing vulnerability and compliance findings using tools like Tenable, Twistlock, OpenSCAP, Anchore, WebInspect, DbProtect.
• Experience supporting federal clients with cyber reconnaissance.
• Experience with POAM remediation, maintaining system documents (SSPs, CONOPs), and guiding product teams on security controls and remediation.
• Experience with Security Operations Center (SOC) functions.
• TS/SCI with polygraph

Salary at Plex Solutions LLC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $80,000.00 to $240,000.00 (annualized USD).Pay Transparency Statement English (Formatted)
