Cloud Security Architect

Location: Raleigh, NC

Job Description:

The solution architect is responsible for driving security engineering within large programs collaborating with a cross functional team to achieve clear security engineering objectives including but not limited to:

• Partner with product teams to roadmap and plan security backlog items.

• Refine security requirements into engineering patterns to drive security and privacy by design

• Consider assurance solutions within CI/CD pipelines.

• Provide direction on cloud platform and workload security engineering for Azure and OCI.

• Provide security architecture and engineering guidance for SaaS cloud platforms.

• Be a transformation agent in adopting modern security engineering practices.

• Bring a software engineering mindset to security engineering and promote everything as code.

Skills

• Experience designing Microsoft based Azure security solutions (Sentinel, Defender, etc)

• Strong understanding of cloud security platform architecture (Azure/OCI) at tenant and workload level.

• Experience building assurance processes within CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong understanding of current cyber threats, mitigation and enterprise challenges.

• Deliver program level reporting on the program security plan execution, backlog prioritization and metrics.

• Strong understanding of control and threat models, and able to apply models to architecture designs.

• Experience with either IaC implementation, API Security and/or security code reviews.

• Experience implementing continuous security monitoring.
