Description
Network and Cloud Engineer
People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a Network and Cloud Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team. This is a full-time position that will design, implement, and manage new and existing cloud infrastructure and networks. It will also support other information technology staff with complex questions, provide training and helping with department ticket requests.
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours, Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5pm
Location: 3000 Ames Crossing Road, Ste 600, Eagan, MN 55121 Must be able to have onsite presence
Hiring Range: $76,744 - $83,560 Salary, depending on qualifications
Bonus: $1,000 bonus to external candidates

Main Job Duties:
Must be able to have physical presence in the Twin Cities, Minnesota greater metro area
Responsible for network systems planning, installation, security, monitoring, change management, and access controls (routers, switches, firewalls, and WAPs).
Create and manage Azure DevOps projects, pipelines, and releases to automate the deployment of infrastructure as code.
Implement security measures (firewalls, access controls, encryption) to safeguard network infrastructure.
Lead the transition from MPLS to modern designs like SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) or SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network).
Monitor and respond to Microsoft 365 security alerts and incidents using the Microsoft 365 Security Center.

Qualifications:

The ability to pass the screening required by Federal Human Services Office of Inspector General to assure the employee has not been excluded from working in the Health Care Programs which receive federal funding.
Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check.
Current driver's license along with a good driving record and valid insurance, if applicable.
Required Education and Experience:
Associate of Arts degree in computer science, Information technology, or related field. In lieu of an Associate's degree, a high school diploma or equivalent and five years of Information Technology experience.
WatchGuard or other Next-Gen Firewall support experience
Experience supporting SD-WAN or similar WAN configurations.
Azure cloud certification
Three years of experience supporting network hardware and software.
Two years of experience with Microsoft 365 security and administration.
Must be able to have physical presence in the Twin Cities, Minnesota greater metro area
Preferred Education and Experience:
Preference given to candidates with a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Preference given to candidates with industry-recognized certifications in Network and Cloud engineering, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Cloud+ certification, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or other Azure (AP, DP, or AI) specific certifications.
