NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Cloud Native Solutions Architect to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Our Cloud Native business is rapidly growing and expanding and we are looking for a leader to help grow the Cloud Native practice. This person will be instrumental in defining and launching new services our customers love, engaging with prospects, partners, & analysts to evangelize the portfolio, partnering with sales teams & clients to solution opportunities, and collaborating with the engineering team to build capabilities and talent. This is an exciting opportunity to help lead a rapidly expanding business.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Service Development: Leverage your expertise and market research to lead the definition and development of the cloud native services practice, delivery platforms, methodologies, and tools. Collaborate with others to define the practice roadmap and backlog

  • Pre-Sales Solution Architect: Lead initial client sales discussions to present our services portfolio and capabilities and to perform high level scoping and opportunity qualification

  • Thought Leadership & Evangelism: Represent the cloud native practice in industry events and consortiums and executive client briefings

  • Go-to-Market: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and strategic cloud native partners to build awareness, demonstrate thought leadership, and generate demand

  • Travel: This position requires someone who can travel at least 25%.

  • Preferred Location is Dallas,TX but remote candidates will be considered.

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of professional experience in a software product management, software engineering, user experience design, application development consulting, or DevOps role
  • 3+ years of experience working with one or more of the following cloud solutions: PCF or CloudFoundry, Openshift, AWS, Azure, GCP, or Kubernetes
  • 3+ years working with stakeholders to understand requirements/user stories and define solutions

Highly Preferred Skills:

  • Degree: Bachelors in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience

  • Analytical capabilities to understand business challenges or opportunities and to define plans or roadmaps to deliver innovative solutions

  • Experience in an agile product development team or experience as a solution architect for agile software development projects

  • Experience with cloud native applications, architecture principles, and leading development practices

  • Experience with small, agile product development teams

  • Experience with DevSecOps

  • Consulting experience within a Digital consultancy practice

  • Experience transforming product or software development practices to become more agile

  • Experience leading large enterprises through cloud transformations

  • Passion for learning and keeping up with new technologies
