Your role was designed to map requirements, plan solutions, and successfully execute the development and maintenance of our systems and networks on a cloud platform. You are also able to balance the needs of your customers against operational targets while at the same time providing world-class service and satisfaction. Additionally, you will:

  • Building, integrating, migrating and maintaining environments within AWS

  • Applying your security experience

  • Providing Systems Engineering support of production and non-production environments on and off site.

  • Responsible for server builds, patch management, virtual machine management, automation etc..

  • Developing and maintaining high standards for policies and procedures.

  • Troubleshooting and debugging environments and infrastructure problems.

  • Hands-on experience migrating workloads on premises to public cloud; automating environment deployments in AWS using Terraform, Cloudformation or other methodologies; building and supporting a highly available and multisite environment.

  • Experience with implementing EC2 auto-scaling groups.

  • Experience with: ELBs, ActiveMQ, ElasticCache etc.

  • Working knowledge of web and application server architecture for public clouds.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of managing a Windows and/or Linux server infrastructure

  • 3+ years working with AWS

  • Gathering requirements, analyzing, designing, developing, testing, maintaining and migrating platforms to AWS.

  • Securing the AWS environment.

  • Providing Systems Engineering support of production and non-production environments on premises and off premises.

This position reports to the VP of Security as part of the infrastructure and network team. The role will include designing, planning, management, maintenance and support of NextHealths cloud environment and information security program. Responsibilities: * Implementation and operational support of NextHealth Microsoft Azure cloud platform. * Design, provision, configure, monitor and maintain the compute, storage and network resources in Azure * Patch & configuration management and security updates, network ACLs, and security remediations * Partner with Security Team in implementing compute, storage, network, and endpoint related security controls * Support internal tools such as Jira, Git, Confluence, Teams, GoAnywhere * Support existing desktop/laptops and provisioning/terminating user accounts etc. * Maintain production by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, cost and overall system health Required Experince: * Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or related field * 7+ years experience as Infrastructure and Network engineer, with at least 2+ of those years in Cloud computing * Strong knowledge of Windows & Linux system administration (networking, security, databases, Apache/IIS web servers) * Strong expertise in Network Security & Compliance in HealthCare or Card industry with exposure to next-generation endpoint protection, data loss prevention, business continuity, disaster recovery and data protection. * Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or other cloud computing platforms * Development of Network designs and configurations for small remote offices * Maintain and troubleshoot wireless and LAN networks * Strong scripting skills a must Power Shell, shell, and python. * Knowledge of directory service configuration (LDAP and Windows Active Directory) * Project Management skills to provide implementation schedules while adhering to company's architectural standards and principles Preferred Experience: * HIPAA and HITRUST certification process * Exposure to Infrastructure as code paradigm, hands-on experience using Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or other automation tools * SharePoint, Teams, InTune, and other Office 365 applications * Meraki, DUO, MFA, 2FA, Radius, VPNs and other access authentication methods/technologies Next Health Denver CO
