Job Description:

We are looking for experience in a hybrid cloud infrastructures that utilize automation components to be more efficient.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience in Azure or GCP cloud infrastructure
• Experience in RHEL 6.x/7.x environment is required
• Automation experience with Ansible (Preferred), Chef or Puppet
• Administrative experience with RedHat Satellite 6 and patching
• experience working with VMWare Infrastructure 5.x+
• experience in one of the following: Perl, Python, PowerShell, Ruby, bash, or other similar language
• Automation experience building and deploying new virtual and physical servers
• Experience developing or implementing code deployment tools to create and control infrastructure as code
• related work experience demonstrating increasing complexity and responsibility in a DevOps or Site Reliability position
• Dell/HP/Cisco hardware experience
• Strong expertise with protocols:
DNS, HTTP, SNMP


Responsibilities:
• Mentor team of Site Reliability Engineers with reliability and automation responsibilities
• Setup installation of monitoring and security products
• Develop playbooks and other automation scripts to deploy infrastructure as code
• Develop documentation and run books for automation that is developed
• Operationalize automation built for server team and teach users
• Communicate with team members with written and verbal skill sets

UTC Aerospace Systems is looking for a highly motivated and technically sound individual to fill a Manufacturing Engineering position at our Union, WV facility. The ideal candidate will be creative, energetic, flexible, and possess a positive attitude and be eager to apply and expand their engineering skills in a highly ethical manner while supporting the introduction and manufacturing of new product designs and associated processes. The manufacturing engineer will work with the design engineering team to review and implement new product design, release of product through manufacturing and including completion of first article inspection. Primary Responsibilities: * Determine manufacturing feasibility, Identify potential fabrication problems and draw attention to special fabrication requirements * Develop Bill of Material and Manufacturing Routings with labor standards for products * Developing the specific methods and instructions for manufacture and/or assembly of products. * Ensure the latest developments in manufacturing technology are considered as part of the design phase. * Review of engineering changes to determine feasibility, producibility and cost impact. * Participate in cost proposals by estimating Manufacturing Engineering tasks, tooling costs and developing manufacturing plans. * Define tool and gage requirements. Provide the necessary input and support to the tool design group. * Ensure adequate tools and gages are available when needed in the process. * Provide support to all activities during the fabrication of the initial unit (first article) of each specific design to resolve processing problems. * Determine, implement and lead process improvement opportunities, business unit initiatives and corrective actions. * Lead efforts to understand non-conformances and reduce Cost of Poor Quality. * Lead 3P events, Value Stream Mapping events, and the implementation of Process Certification * Must able to travel up to 10% Employment Type Full time United Technologies Corporation Union NJ
