The FBIs Applications and Data Division is looking for passionate technologists to help us face some of the nations toughest challenges. We provide the end-to-end technical services for the applications and data that enable FBI Special Agents and Analysts around the world to protect the American public and uphold the U.S.

As a Cloud Engineer, you bring a systematic approach to cloud-based development, operations, standardization and governance of cloud computing applications to the enterprise.
In practice, you will leverage engineering methods and tools to conceive, develop, operate and maintain cloud computing systems and solutions for the FBIs investigative, intelligence and enterprise applications and data.
Must lead in the development of the technical solution or offering and in translating business needs into technical requirements. Must be able to identify gaps, strategic impacts, financial impacts and the risk profile in the technical solution or offering and provide technical support.
Must understand cloud computing technology and infrastructure as well as have experience designing and migrating applications to the cloud. Must demonstrate the ability to blueprint, design and deploy scalable, HA and fault-tolerant systems on AWS and Azure and make commercially available PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS recommendations where appropriate.
Must be able to write high-quality code to solve automation problems in one or more scripting language (Python, Ruby, Perl); must be capable of automating the build processes to accommodate both functional and scale testing.
Minimum Qualifications:
You must:
Be a U.S. citizen.
Be able to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance-Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
Must meet the FBIs Employment Eligibility requirements.
