Cloud Devops Engineer

Dematic is seeking a Analyst-level Software/Cloud Developer for our Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) team, who can work closely in an agile development and continuous delivery environment alongside local and global team members. As part of the CI/CD team you will participate in all aspects of continuous integration/delivery as part of the software development lifecycle. You will have the opportunity to implement pipelines, debug and resolve existing issues, support other scrum teams with DevOps issues, as well as work on release management, and on a whole lot of cloud-based technologies related to provisioning, deployment and troubleshooting of cloud resources and deployment of products.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $ 53,000-113,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What You Will do in This Role:

• Create and support CI/CD pipelines

• Create and support cloud deployments

• Create and support on-premises deployments

• Support local developers' deployments

• Support release management

• Support all development teams with CI/CD issues

• Work on emerging technology and tools POC

What We are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent educational background (Certificates or courses taken) 4+ years experience working as a DevOps Engineer. Examples of certificates could be:

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator

• Etc.

• 2 -4 years working as a DevOps Engineer

• Exposure to Docker compose

• 2+ years of Terraform(TF) experience

• 2+ years of Bash scripting experience

• Experience using Jenkins (or similar tools) for automating pipelines

• GCP multi project deployment experience

• GCP related networking knowledge - VPC, peering, etc.

• Kubernetes experience

• Avid learner and staying on top of emergin technologies

• Good problem solving skills

• Detail oriented and focus on getting things done
