As the central information technology provider for the St Louis Fed, Information Technology Services (ITS) is dedicated to meeting the business needs of its customers and Federal Reserve System partners by providing strategically aligned, cost-effective and innovative products and services. The ITS department is seeking a dynamic Cloud DevOps Engineer to support a wide range of public websites and applications.
Install, maintain, and configure Linux and Windows environments on all servers including networking, clustering, storage, identity/access management, security, and applications.
Collaborate with application development teams to incorporate end user and development team requirements.
Monitor and respond appropriately to outages and alerts, escalating issues as needed.
Diagnose, resolve and document incidents.
Plan, implement and document technical change requests.
Develop and maintain detailed technical process and procedure documentation.
Research, document and implement new technology solutions.
Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience.
5 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of Linux operating systems and common services.
Proficient in Microsoft Windows Server operating systems 2008/2012/2016 and VMware virtualization platforms.
Proficient with administration and troubleshooting of complex infrastructure applications, middleware, and IIS web servers.
Experience in computer networking.
Basic knowledge of relational and multidimensional database management systems
Proficient in scripting products, such as BASH, PowerShell, PHP, Python, and Perl.
Basic knowledge of incident and change management systems such as GitLab.
Experience with Ansible configuration management tool preferred.
Excellent customer service skills and strong ability to manage business relationships

Strong interpersonal skills and written communications
High standards of confidentiality; ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and trust
