As a Cloud Developer at ICF, you will be working on a variety of digital products such as chatbots, cross-platform mobile apps, websites, and APIs. We look at you to bring your passion for Node.js, Golang, or Python and AWS Cloud Platform using services as well as:

  • At least three years hands on experience developing solutions on the AWS platform using services such as RDS, S3, IAM, Cognito, API Gateway

  • At least one language common to cloud platforms such as Node.js, Golang, or Python

  • Agile Methodologies

  • Creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines

  • Test-driven development and/or behavior-driven development

  • Ability to stay current with the evolving platform and understand how new AWS services can enrich our products

  • Familiarity with GIT and managing branching strategies

  • Familiarity with Docker

Other skills that you have may include: Continuous monitoring solutions such as Elastic Stack, Microservice Architecture and DevOps: CloudFormation (infrastructure as code), Ansible, Auto Scaling.

ICF's next Cloud Developer will be located in Fairfax Virginia, Rockville Maryland or Durham North Carolina. Remote capabilities are available.

The Junior Cloud Engineer will be a part of a technical team of cloud engineers and system administrators which are responsible for application deployments, environment patching and maintenance operations. Responsibilities include but not limited to design, deployment and maintenance of AWS environment and work with security team to ensure all client security requirements have been met.<br /> <br /> The Junior Cloud Engineer will also be responsible for assisting product development teams to speed development times and deploy applications to all environments. This includes responsibility for executing the tools and processes to enable DevSecOps and will support an end-to-end provisioning process, facilitating automation wherever possible.<br /> <br /> <strong>Qualifications</strong> <ul> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">1 – 3 years’ work/school experience. Ideal candidate will have a BS in a technical field, have equivalent work experience or be currently be enrolled in a degree program</li> </ul> <strong> Requirements</strong> <ul> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Must be very comfortable navigating a Linux environment.
