Cloud Configuration Management Specialist

• Design, sustain, maintain AWS environments and topologies

• Manage and maintain Microsoft AD, ADFS, and WAPs

• Manage and maintain Artifactory and ACAS

• Deploy Hybrid AWS AD environments

• Handle AWS security and monitoring solutions implementation, including automated responses

• Tools and Automation (scripting - Jenkins, Gitlab, Ansible, Terraform, Cloud Formation templates)

• Develop and maintain IaC codebase

• Configure and troubleshoot cloud, virtual, and physical hardware and software systems

• Proactively identify and resolve operational, tooling and process inefficiencies

• Provide technical assistance and training to users

• Implement the configuration management processes and procedures according to the Enterprise Configuration Management SOP.

• Manage and facilitate Enterprise Configuration Control Board (E-CCB).

• Review released engineering change requests and data to ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies.

This position is for Monday through Friday, normal business hours.

BA/BS and 9 years of experience or 13 years of experience in lieu of degree

Required Clearance:

• Interim Secret clearance required to start; Ability to obtain a Secret clearance required to maintain employment
• US citizenship required

Required Certification:

• Must have at least one of these IAT Level II certifications: Security , CECCNA-Security, CySA , GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP

Desired Certification:

• Must have at least one Computing Environment (CE) certification or certificate for the technical area of responsibility for Cloud or virtualization AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Advanced Networking·

Required Skills:

• In depth understanding of and experience with, deployments of various systems to AWS utilizing both Cloud and nonnative services

• Applicant should be comfortable talking about all aspects and features of AWS

• Ability to interact with high level customers and involved in collaboration, design, implementation, and involvement of project planning

Desired Skills:

• Experience supporting software migration efforts

• Experience in an MSP or other IT company highly desirable

• SIPR facility access and/or previous SIPR experience

• Some of the core components included, but not limited to are; EC2, Elastic Beanstalk Containers (ECS, Fargate, EKS), Network (Subnetting, Route Tables, SG's, VPC, VPC Peering, NACLS, VPN). RDS. Storage (S3, EBS). WAP, Active Directory, SSO, Federation
