As a member of the Navisite Professional Services team, the IT Architect leads the technical architecture, design and delivery aspects of cloud project solutions for Navisite's growing Professional Services team. This role meets with clients to shape professional services solutions that will meet their business needs. This role is assigned the most complex and critical cloud-based projects that require working closely with partners and clients. This position serves as a point of technical escalation, review for technical aspects of project-based solutions.

The ideal candidate keeps current with trends and technological innovations in the Cloud Services industry and makes appropriate development recommendations. This position formulates technological vision and direction while developing long-term technology roadmaps for project services. This role is responsible for a high-level of collaboration with other groups across the Navisite Product Management and Implementation organizations, external partners and clients and communicates and promotes the technology vision with the broader Navisite organization and externally.

What you will do

  • Provide subject matter expertise for public cloud (Azure), VMware cloud solutions and cloud migration technology domains.

  • Lead the Professional Services technical pre-sales activities including migration solution design, client workshops and RFP responses.

  • Lead technical aspects of client cloud migrations to Azure and VMware based cloud platforms

  • Lead discovery and assessment activities.

  • Provide technical assistance and escalation to implementation and operations personnel on new cloud projects and cloud assessments, and provide formal technical offer enablement training and informal mentoring to other employees.

  • Formulate and review new cloud platform, software, tools and technical methodologies for professional services offerings and delivery capabilities.

  • Formulate criteria for and execute proof-of-concept projects for new approaches and platforms.

  • Oversee and conduct a technical review of professional services proposed projects.

Required keys for success

  • Five or more years of technical architect experience in IT infrastructure and cloud

  • Proven delivery of cloud-based technical projects such as cloud migrations

  • Proficiency with Windows, Linux and cloud platforms especially Azure

  • Experience with cloud migration tools such as ASR, Movere, Cloudendure and Carbonite Move and methodologies

  • Demonstrated experience with technical pre-sales activities including leading the technical solution development.

  • Experience in software and tooling evaluation and recommendations for adoption

  • Experience working in an Agile environment

  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure automation especially with Microsoft stack

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in order to clearly communicate with clients, product constituents and senior management.

  • Advanced knowledge of cloud computing, migration, disaster recovery, DevOps, Virtualization and managed services

  • Familiar with common cloud migration techniques such as rehost, replatform, refactor etc..

  • Proven analytical skills to solve complex technology and business problems.

  • Ability to effectively translate clients business needs into technical solutions

  • Ability to influence technology direction with solid analysis

  • Ability to learn and act as a change agent

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills to all levels of a client organization including senior management

  • Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively and independently multiple projects and tasks

  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure

  • Strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines and achieve results

  • Aptitude and eagerness to learn from a new environment and make an impact quickly

For more information, visit The Highlights NaviSite is seeking a seasoned Compliance Analyst to assist with management and governance of the corporate compliance programs, through collaboration and cooperation, with appropriate stake holders (i.e. product management, engineering, operations, and other support functions). The individual will ensure all compliance services and related processes are properly evaluated, designed, implemented, managed, and monitored. What You Will Do * Reports to the Compliance Officer and assists with the day-to-day implementation and management of Navisite's governance, risk and compliance initiatives. * Provides technical support and guidance to business units affected by existing laws and regulations. * Participates in data collection, validation and reporting as part of regular compliance activities. * Keeps well-informed of and analyses new and pending laws and regulations. * Researches and develops the steps needed to test and\or monitor compliance requirements with applicable policies and procedures, in conjunction with defined and pending laws and regulations. * Articulates risks and assess adequacy of mitigation protocols where applicable. * Assists with fulfillment of security related questionnaires and surveys as needed. * Manages attestion of compliance requirements, with ability to interface and coordinate activities with external audit resources as necessary. * Provides regulatory subject matter expertise in compliance framework, solutions and requirements that are currently or reasonably expected to be used as part of solutions and services provided by their assigned business unit. * Ensures compliance with corporate security program, policies, standards, and guidelines. * Provides periodic compliance risk assessments, highlighting priority issues and suggested corrective actions. * Assists with various deliverables associated with change management and other process excellence initiatives. * Assists with other responsibilities as necessary. Required Keys for Success * Five or more years of risk and compliance related experience * Five or more years years of technology management related compliance experience * Proven expertise in managing AOC programs for SOC 1, SOC 2, ISO27001, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR. * History of documenting risk methodologies, maintaining risk registers, and initiating risk assessments for applicable environments * Proven ability to identify, generate, and maintain metrics used to demonstrate relative risk and justify program growth expectations. * Knowledge of the latest information security standards, privacy laws, and regulations to ensure compliance both with internal security policies and external compliance requirements. * Experience using governance, risk, and compliance software is a plus. * Experience in managing AOC programs for FedRAMP a plus. * Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. * Successful track record of working with technical internal customers both independently and concurrently to achieve business goals and meet requirements. * Ability to communicate compliance status and risks to the Compliance Officer, in business terms, and to applicable stake holders. * Articulates the value of security controls and their potential business Impacts. * Advanced presentation, program management, and relationship management skills. * Strong risk analysis, customer service, problem solving, and consulting skills. * Professional with ability to properly handle confidential information. * Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks concurrently to meet deadlines. * Ability to work within a matrix organization. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
