Job Summary

Enterprise Data Platform Analyst, Master Data Management and Report Automation Cloud Analyst participates and drives the development lifecycle of the firm's next generation data environment. Development entails design, build and operating the platform. The analyst is an enabler, self-starter and is execution focused. The analyst is familiar in DevSecOps methodologies and Agile / Waterfall project delivery in large corporations. The successful analyst embodies the MUFG values of Integrity, Respect, Service, Collaboration, Inclusion and Stewardship.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Engage and collaborate with various MUFG organizations like Security, Infrastructure and Architecture teams. Work with and supplement other EDP engineering teams.

  • Help automate enterprise processes like change controls, incident management, metric reporting, resiliency, scaling, etc.

  • Upkeep the standards for data and it's processing for regulatory and analytical use.

  • Align with audit and compliance requests.

  • Work in Jira and Confluence by enriching and grooming team's backlog.

  • Support the needs of the MDM and Report Automation teams from an AWS and enterprise perspective.

  • Minimum 5 years in a data environment and 5 years working in a financial institution or similar.

  • Familiar with big data concepts like map reduce, key value and object file stores.

  • Has worked on Data Warehouse systems and understands the way data is stored like third normal form and ensemble data modeling, transmitted across the enterprise, checked and reconciled.

  • Data engineering know how of SQL, Informatica PowerCenter or similar.

  • Knowledge of a MDM system (Informatica) and a Report Automation platform (Axciom).

  • Awareness of data governance aspects like metadata, business glossaries, canonical models, etc

  • Aptitude for learning in a dynamic environment. Tackling new projects, new teams, new technologies means having to adjust and learn all the time.

  • Positive, can-do attitude.

  • Excellent collaboration skills and a real passion for problem solving, with the ability to work alternative coverage schedules

  • Proven verbal and written communication skills required due to the dynamic nature of collaboration with leadership, partners and other engineering teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.

Job Summary The Core Banking Transformation technology team seeks a hardworking a Test Data Engineer who is passionate about delivering a high-quality customer experience for our product solutions. You are a technically aware person with a deep understanding of how software products work, how they interact with each other and most meaningfully how they break! You and the team you work with provide full-stack and back-end solutions. You should have a nice balance of testing both web applications and back-end services, in addition to writing comprehensive automated integration tests. Major Responsibilities: * Oversees enhancements and updates of data pipelines, repositories or models for structured/unstructured data. * Coordinates the execution of established portions of testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identifies and debugs issues with code and suggests changes or improvements. * Participates as a member of a project team of other data science professionals to develop reliable, efficient and high-quality solutions for assigned data system, model, or component. * Work with the product team and other development teams to understand how new features should be tested, and then engage them in chipping in automated tests. * Communicate and collaborate effectively with partners from Development, Project Management, Product Management and other QA team members.
