Position Overview:

Our Red Arch Solutions team is seeking an adept Cloud Systems Administrator who wants to support a transformative data management project in support of one of Red Arch's elite intelligence customers. If you desire to modernize big data repositories delivering overarching analytic modernization delivery capabilities to data flow, management, compliance, and validation this new opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities:

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.

• Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.

• Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.

• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems

• Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers

• Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process

• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications:

• An active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required.

• 3 years of relevant experience as a systems administrator is required.

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics is required.

• 3 additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree.

• Hadoop/Cloud System Administrator Certification or comparable Cloud System/Service Certification is required.

Desired Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of SSH tunneling and protocols including the implementation of dynamic SOCKS proxies as well as other ssh-based utilities, including rysn, pdsh, pdcp, and WinSCP.

• Basic understanding of network concepts including vlans, port channel bonding and layer2/layer 3 switch interactions.

• Familiarity with software load balancers for large scale webservice implementations including haproxy and nginx.

• Experience with Kubernetes orchestration services and Docker images.

• Experience with log aggregation and search tools including ElasticSearch, logstatsh, filebeats, Grafana, and rsyslog.#CJ
