We are currently seeking a Cloud Administrator for our client in the Consulting domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Role: Cloud Administrator

Primary Skills: Linux

Role Description: As a Cloud Administrator, you must have at least 7+ years of experience

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field and 4+ years' experience in managing compute environments. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Proficiency in both Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server operating systems.

• Proficiency in managing IaaS/SaaS resources in a cloud environment.

Note: Cloud Administrator Public Trust REMOTE (DC area preferred, as they would like the you to come in for a quarterly meeting).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administration & Governance

• System administration tasks for both Linux and Windows server based systems including provisioning, deprovisioning, configuration, troubleshooting, and executing platform upgrades.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute successful patching of operating systems and installed applications.

• Monitor and optimize cloud storage costs and efficiency, employing FinOps strategies to ensure cost-effective resource utilization.

• Develop, deploy, and manage scalable and secure data pipelines according to Zero Trust principles

• Development & Engineering

• Implement automation using PowerShell, YAML, JSON, Bash, or other tools to streamline operational processes.

• Identity Governance

• Perform user account onboarding/offboarding and managing proper role-based access controls in both Active Directory and in the cloud.

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Travel: No

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
