Position Information
Winthrop Position Title Clothed Model for Fine Arts Job Purpose
Live models for drawing classes within the Department of Fine Arts.
Duties and Responsibilities
Models will hold poses, both active and resting, for purposes of students rendering studies of the human form. Poses can vary from active stances of any where from 30 seconds to a few minutes, or inactive poses ranging from 5 minutes to an hour, with breaks.
Workers will be required to show up on time for modeling sessions. Workers will be required to bring their own clothing for purposes of modeling. All body types are welcome.
No prior experience is required. Workers are responsible for maintaining their records of work with the office of employment
Qualifications
Models of all body types are eligible. The work does require models to be able to move, with intention, from one pose to the next, as well as being able to hold their position for relatively short durations of time for purposes of life drawing.
Models must be able to take cues from the instructor. No prior experience necessary.
Preferred Skills
Workers with backgrounds in modeling, drama, dance, sports, weight lifting, yoga, martial arts, etc are preferred.
