Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

The Closing Specialist is an entry level position in the Closing Department. Closing Specialists will complete tasks that are administrative in nature to help loans close, fund, and board to the servicing platform. The Closing Specialist is responsible for a cross-functional role with opportunities to work in all aspects of the closing process on a daily basis as the workload dictates to include but not limited to: generating initial and final closing disclosures, drawing docs, reviewing docs, funding loans, and other various functions.

Responsible for performing a variety of loan documentation duties on moderate to complex loans, learning and applying knowledge of current investor guidelines and government regulations such as: TRID, RESPA, ECOA, FCRA, HMDA, MDIA, TILA, AIR (previously HVCC) and all other compliance guidelines.

• Obtain verbal verification of employment

• Department mail distribution

• Request closing package status from Closing Agents for funding

• Complete MERS and FEMA validations

• Scanning/uploading of loan files for all funders

• Regulatory validation to include Flood, HMDA, TRID, RESPA, etc.

• Clearing purchased loans and old funded loans from the storage room

• Logging Notes and delivery to Loan Servicing

• Complete loan boarding and required data entry and validations

• Other duties as assigned to include cross training on closing and funding
