The Business Consultant acts as an interface between our clients business teams and our product teams. The consultant implements software solutions by adapting to the clients needs and adjusting capabilities of the software. This includes configuring the tool based on functional specifications, training users, and providing advice to clients on best practice processes and areas for improvement.


  • Partner with clients to design, develop/configure, and build solutions to help them reimagine and reshape their source-to-pay process (S2P).

  • Conduct thorough business process analysis and provide guidance.

  • Deliver enterprise solutions as part of the implementation team.

  • Provide client configuration training utilizing Determines implementation methodology.

  • Collaborate with internal and external team(s) through problem definition, issue identification and work plan development.

  • Support change management activities to prepare the client for deployment and adoption.


  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Contract Law, Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, related field or applicable work experience

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience

  • Experience with process design, demonstration of thought leadership and implementation of process improvement

  • High degree of integrity

  • Strong familiarity with project management processes and methodology

  • Analytical thinking and problem solving, ability to effectively identify business issues and opportunities, assess proposed solutions and meet stakeholder needs.

  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.

  • Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

  • S2P software/ERP system knowledge a plus

  • Understanding of procurement, strategic sourcing, and contract management business processes a plus

As a Business Analyst Intern you will be responsible for requirements elicitation, analysis and creating requirements documentation which can include visualization and modeling. You will have the opportunity to expand on skills in interfacing with business customers and engaging in real world product and application specifications that will drive sales. Key Duties: * Participate in requirements elicitation meetings * Document the requirements using different techniques * Collaborate with business and development teams * Triage testing defects as related to requirements * Participate in and contribute to project status meetings Potential Project Opportunities: Robotics / Process Improvement * Evaluation of identified improvement opportunities to create / validate business cases for process improvement or automation efforts * Partner with experienced resources to develop proposed implementation plans for process improvement or automation initiatives * Partner with experienced resources to design/build/test/implement process improvement or automation solutions (as time allows) Pega Implementation Support * Participate in and contribute to the delivery Pega functionality by becoming part of an Agile scrum team and: * Partnering with an experienced Pega Business Architect or Business Analyst to contribute to user story creation and elaboration activities * Partnering with an experienced business tester to develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure Pega functionality fulfills the acceptance criteria of each user story * Contributing to Agile Scrum team activities such as stand ups, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, etc… to deliver on project tasks as assigned.
