The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Clinician-Rural is responsible for working with customer-owners in rural communities who self-refer or are referred by a provider to recognize and address psychological symptoms and conditions using the bio-psychosocial model. The employee in this role will provide clinical interventions tailored to the customer-owner needs including brief intervention, crisis intervention, and long-term treatment.

This position has two (2) levels designed to provide progressively more responsible and independent work experiences. Progression between job levels is based on the demonstrated ability to successfully handle more progressively responsible assignments.

Requires extensive travel by small aircraft to rural locations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in behavioral health field including Counseling, Psychology or Social Work; OR PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.

  • Obtain Alaska Clinical Licensure in designated field within three (3) years of hire.

Additional Qualifications for Clinician Rural II:

  • Two (2) years of supervised clinical work experience for Master's level behavioral health; OR Two (2) years of post-graduate clinical experience for PhD or PsyD level; OR demonstrated proficiency as a Clinician I at SCF.

  • Current Alaska Clinical Licensure in designated field.

As a Tower Technician II, your responsibilities will include: * Climbing and working on communications towers for the purpose of installing, replacing, and repairing antenna systems equipment performs tower maintenance under close supervision. * The basic use and care of hand tools and mechanical equipment. * Knowing the hazards associated with tower climbing, construction equipment, and working on or near energized lines and equipment. * The ability to climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with 50 lb. load. * Analyzing situations accurately and adopt an appropriate course of action. * Communicating orally and in writing. * Following instructions accurately and complete assigned course of action. * Recognizing safety hazards and performing duties in a safe manner. * Work under close supervision. * Ability to traveling extensively throughout the assigned territory Job Requirements * High school diploma or GED equivalency * Minimum of 2 years' tower experience * Must have the ability to climb towers, be able to pick up 50 lbs., and be cable of working up to 12 hours. * Individuals must have a valid driver's license and driving record meeting the company policy conditions. * Must be available to work weekends and/or nights, in extreme weather conditions if necessary, and be willing to travel extensively. * Must be able to work out of market or away from home as work demands. * Industrial first aid * Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions per prints * Organized with a strong attention to detail and capable of working with minimum supervision * Working knowledge of safety standards and regulations * Must have the ability to climb towers, be able to pick up 50 lbs., and be cable of working up to 12 hours on occasion Additional Information * Individuals must have a valid driver's license and driving record meeting the company policy conditions. * Must be available to work weekends and/or nights, in extreme weather conditions if necessary, and be willing to travel extensively. * Must be able to work out of market or away from home as work demands.
