Position Summary: The Clinician Onboarding Specialist is dedicated to providing a personalized, thoughtful, and seamless experience for clinicians during their onboarding journey at OBHG. This role works to increase clinician retention and onboarding satisfaction as the main point of contact for onboarding clinicians. The Clinician Onboarding Specialist will provide organizational knowledge and expertise to guide and assist onboarding clinicians with a wide variety of needs throughout their onboarding process, facilitating connections to other departments when needed.
Position Responsibilities: Essential

Schedules and executes regular touchpoints via phone calls, text messages and emails with onboarding clinicians to ensure that the clinician is on track with the onboarding process and target start date.
Perform outreach to clinician to obtain information and/or documents to support onboarding.
Pursues excellent customer, concierge-level service to ensure proper handling of issues as a liaison between the clinician and the organization by being available for any questions or feedback
Coordinates a variety of transactions and projects including support, follow up to ensure clinician satisfaction during the onboarding process and maintenance of HR onboarding communications
Facilitates a smooth transition to HR for confidential onboarding tasks.
Responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with departments to ensure accuracy within each step of onboarding and to create a seamless workflow for the new hire
Provides constant process improvement feedback within onboarding workflows such as troubleshooting inefficiencies, minimizing steps, and reduction of duplicate work in an effort to reduce clinician frustration and increase clinician satisfaction and retention.
Provides support to Clinical Leadership in the new hire orientation process post-onboarding
Participates in the analysis of Clinician Onboarding Survey results quarterly for measuring KPIs and continuous process improvement
Essential Skills/Credentials/Experience/Education
Excellent organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to function well in a high-paced, dynamic and at times stressful environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Working knowledge of Adobe, Visio, or other related software products
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Preferred Skills/Credentials/Experience/Education
5+ years of clinician facing, customer service experience preferred
Strong computer skills, proficient in Word, Excel & Access.
Preferred understanding of credentialing, licensing, and onboarding processes
Preference may be given to candidates who have worked in a medical field.

Sitting for long periods of time. Occupation requires this activity more than 66% of the time (2.6+ hrs/day)

Hourly, Nonexempt Compensation Range: 27.00 - $34.00 per hour
