We are currently offering the Clinician position a $3,000 sign-on bonus for new employees.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Clinician will conduct mental health assessments and provide ongoing individual and group-counseling services, screen for human trafficking concerns, and provide crisis intervention services. Responsible to complete In-Depth Assessments for all children in order to facilitate a thorough review of the childs past history, to assess their current issues and treatment needs, provide child with appropriate individual counseling and participation in group counseling.

  • The Clinician will provide Clinical Services program for the UAC Program, which includes individual assessments, individual counseling and group counseling.

  • The Clinician will conduct initial psychosocial assessments on each new child.

  • Responsible for determining childs psychiatric diagnosis based on diagnostic criteria from DSM-IV- TR, if applicable.

  • Must ensure concise and timely completion of all documentation in an Avatar Progress Note within 48 hours of occurrence of the event to be documented.

  • The Clinician will individual and group counselling sessions weekly.

  • To participate in monthly supervision and monthly staff meetings and peer audits with Program Director and staff.

  • Provide direct services to children to ensure a staff/client ratio is maintained in accordance with DCF regulations.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Must have a Masters Degree in Social Work with clinical experience in the program, or Masters Degree in Psychology, Mental Health, or other relevant behavioral science in which direct clinical experience is a program requirement.

  • Must be licensed or eligible for licensure; State of Florida License in the discipline of Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work and/ or Psychology.

  • Skilled in cross-cultural or multicultural environments.

  • Bilingual: English/Spanish or English/Haitian Creole/French, highly recommended to meet the language demands for most clients

  • Proof of Immunization for: Varicella (2 doses), MMR (2 dose), Influenza (1 dose yearly), Tdap (1 dose). Must be COVID vaccinated.

  • Must have a valid drivers' license and proof auto insurance coverage,
