Eliot's Community Crisis Stabilization provides assessment and treatment delivering short term 24 hour treatment for adults in a structured and supportive environment. CCS provides person-centered stabilization and support of individuals in psychiatric distress in the least restrictive environment. Access to the CCS Program is provided through Eliot's Emergency Psychiatric Services.
Eliot is seeking a clinician with excellent diagnostic skills; competence in crisis intervention and engagement strategies. the ideal individual will be able to quickly establish rapport with wide range of clinical presentations. Having knowledge of the vast array of community resources and how to access them and a plus.
Provide daily individual and group therapy, collateral and family consultations, case management and consultation to nursing and psychiatric staff.
Develop and implement goal oriented treatment plans for all clients in the program, within 24 hours of admission.
Conduct concurrent reviews with insurers as needed to obtain authorization for services.
Document all clinical and collateral contacts as well as case management activities in the medical record on the day of service provision.
Complete activity logs daily for all services provided and submit same to supervisor.
Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds and lead the clinical presentation.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 12pm-8pm
Salary: $42,000 (Masters only)
