We are looking for curious, motivated people to help us expand our capabilities managing a pediatric immunotherapy trial portfolio! The Clinical Trials Coordinator supports Immunotherapy Coordinating Center Clinical Trials Management in the organization, implementation, and completion of clinical research studies in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, institutional/departmental guidelines, standards of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and within budget. Primary responsibilities include: developing a deep understanding of specific processes and systems supporting the execution of clinical trials, for example:

SalesForce business application, scientific, ethics, and regulatory committee submissions, and Trial Master File. A collaborative spirit, patience, and a sense of humor are essential!

Requirements

Required Education/Experience: - Associate's degree or equivalent and minimum five (5) years of related experience in clinical research or related field, OR a Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of progressively responsible positions in clinical research or related field.

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of US Food and Drug (FDA) regulations, International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines, and Good Clinical Practice.

  • Solid understanding of clinical research processes. Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree in biological or life sciences or health related field.

  • Medical terminology background or the ability to learn medical l terminology.

  • Experience with SalesForce

  • Experience managing vendors

Fred Hutch's pioneering work in bone marrow transplantation led to the development of immunotherapy, which harnesses the power of the immune system to treat cancer. An independent, nonprofit research institute based in Seattle, Fred Hutch houses the nation's first cancer prevention research program, as well as the clinical coordinating center of the Women's Health Initiative and the international headquarters of the HIV Vaccine Trials Network. Careers Start Here. Responsibilities The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) provides care for blood and marrow transplant patients and immunotherapy patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings under the supervision of the attending physician. The APP is responsible for the primary care of the patient to include assessment, triage and management of the transplant patient as part of a collaborative transplant team. Responsibilities include obtain medical history, perform physical examinations, review and order diagnostic studies, radiographs and prescribe treatments. APPs perform bone marrow aspirations, lumbar punctures and are first assists with Bone Marrow Harvests and provide follow-up care of bone marrow donors under the supervision of attending physician. Qualifications * Must be a graduate of a Physician Assistant training program or appropriate Nurse Practitioner program and be able to practice in the state of Washington (licensed) * Have National Certification as appropriate for profession * Must be licensed for schedule II drug authority * Strong oral and written communication skills required * Basic computer skills are essential * Must be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team * Must enjoy long-term relationships with patients undergoing intense therapy * Oncology or BMT experience preferred Please include a cover letter when applying for this job that includes your specific interest in the Advanced Practice Provider position and working for Fred Hutch (either as an additional attachment on your profile or merged into the file that contains your resume.)
