Pay Range: $25.67 - $37.70 USD hourly.

Purpose of Job:
Improves the overall health of the communities we serve by providing effective and efficient training as follows:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, and facilitates clinical training and materials for new and existing clinical staff.
Develops and delivers education and evaluates effectiveness to provide pre- and post-training support to improve workflow efficiency as needed.
Monitors and maintains comprehensive knowledge of software and workflow practices.
Maintains repository of clinical job aids and workflows.
Monitors system use and workflows to identify and deliver training needs.
Works collaboratively with other departments to ensure clinical training needs are met.
Performs other duties as assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities by Function:
Digital Strategy and Innovation (DSI): Works in collaboration with the DSI team to assist in the design, development, and facilitation of clinical and corporate training programs across multiple locations.
Medical Assistant: Designs, develops, and facilitates clinical medical trainings, materials, and skill labs for new and existing staff, in collaboration with working groups.
Pharmacy Technician: Designs, develops, and facilitates pharmacy trainings and materials for new and existing staff, in collaboration with working groups. Develops and manages the Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship program.
Dental Assistant: Designs, develops, and facilitates dental trainings, materials, and skills labs for new and existing staff, in collaboration with working groups.
Behavioral Health: Works in collaboration with the Behavioral Health team to assist in the design, development, and facilitation of onboarding, trainings, and materials for new and existing staff, in collaboration with working groups and programs across multiple locations.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience: At least one year of experience with electronic health, dental or pharmacy records, including work optimizing clinical use required. Facilitation and training experience required. Previous experience working for underserved populations preferred.
Certified: Completion of medical assistant training through an apprenticeship program registered and approved by the WA Department of Labor & Industries or college program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education School (ABHES) or the Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) required. Certification through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Healthcareer Association (NHA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) required within 120 days of hire. Washington locations also require a Medical Assistant
Certified credential issued by Washington State Department of Health.
Pharmacy Technician: Pharmacy Technician Board (PTCB or NHA) certification required. Active Pharmacy Technician Certification license with WA Department of Health at time of hire required.
Dental Assistant: Completion of accredited dental assisting program or CHAS Dental Assistant training program required. Valid Dental Assistant Registration licensure in the state of Washington required at the time of hire. Dental Assisting National Board (DNAB) certification recommended.
Behavioral Health: At least one year experience working in, around, or directly for a behavioral health facility and/or program.
Skills: Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with people at all levels of the organization required. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills required. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality required. Excellent time management, organization, and follow-up skills required. Computer skills required. Valid driver's license and insurance required. BLS (CPR/AED) required. Commitment to supporting a safe, respectful, equitable, and inclusive environment required.
Physical Demands:
Must talk, hear, and sit more than two-thirds of the day. Using hands occurs over two-thirds of the day, while reaching with arms occurs less than one-third of the day. Communicating is also required over two-thirds of the day, while climbing, stooping, or crawling is minimal. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
