Minimum Education Graduate of Registry Level Respiratory Care Program Registered Respiratory Therapist Credential NBRC Minimum Work Experience No previous experience Required Licenses/Certifications Texas Medical Board Respiratory Care License# Annual renewal of National Board for Respiratory Care active status for therapists subject to the Continuing Competency Program (CCP) Graduate Therapists must obtain CRT credentials and then test for RRT credential and NBRC Credential active status within 1 year of graduation. If RRT Credential is not obtained, will be placed into Respiratory Care Practitioner job position until RRT credential is obtained.

BLS - should not initiate patient contact until completed. ACLS should be completed within 90 days of hire. PALS or ENPC should be completed within 6 months of hire.

NRP should be completed within 6 months of hire. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Input data into computer programs. Maintain work area according to OSHA and NIOSH standards. Designated Driver No OSHA Category 1 - High Risk
