Help young men in a therapeutic setting as they progress on their healing journey.

Discovery Ranch Choices Community is a intermediate secure care short term residential facility in Provo, Utah. As our Clinical Therapist, you will utilize evidence-based practices combined with experiential therapies to help our students and their families heal. When you join our Clinical Team, you will join a group of collaborative, deeply caring professionals. You will also work closely with our residential staff to deliver the best program possible to our students and their families. Healthy relationships, novel and challenging experiences, and a strengths-based approach are how we foster the healing process and create lasting change. Responsibilities:

• Carry a caseload of adolescents (3-10)
• Provide individual and family therapy for each client (Only if primary therapist is unavailable)
• Facilitate group therapy sessions daily
• Document all services

• Evaluate patients’ emotional, behavioral and mental state through discussion, observation and analysis
• Create psycho-social history and master treatment plan for each client
• Manage the continuum of care for each client while they are with us
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team
• Attend treatment team meetings
• Work closely and collaboratively with residential staff
• Participate in marketing activities, including occasional travel
• Develop and maintain relationships with referring professionals

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work (CSW), or

• Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), or
• Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC), or
• PhD in Psychology or related field
• 3 years of clinical experience is Preferred
• Relationship-focused with a family systems approach
• Able to pass criminal investigation background checks
• Able to pass motor vehicle record check
• Current Utah driver's license (within 30 days of employment)
• 1st Aid & CPR certified (we may provide)
• ICC certified (we may provide)
