Job Description

Bath Iron Works is looking for a skilled clinical technician to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks including, but not limited to, the following;

• Recording patients' vital signs, documenting notes and changes in medical conditions.

• Prepping exam rooms for clinical procedures and assisting practitioners with patient care.

• Monitoring and documenting patient symptoms for physicians' review during clinical exams.

• Providing compassionate patient support and care, attention and assistance during office visits.

• Duties to include but not limited to: Preforming surveillance screening which include: phlebotomy, vision screening, audiology, drug screen testing and pulmonary function testing as directed.

• Managing office telephone systems, including answering calls and returning messages.

• Documenting patients' medical information, including medical history.

• Performing data entry tasks to document patient records within facility databases.

Required/Preferred Education/Training

• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) required.

• High School diploma or GED required.

Required/Preferred Experience

• 1+ years in a medical office required.

• Experience with EMR (electronic medical records) and medical terminology required.

• Previous experience in specific medical field preferred.

• Professional, dependable, and organized.

• Ability to work well in a team environment.

• Supply and inventory management experience.

• Strong written and verbal communication.

• Procedural skills and continuous process improvement.
