As a Clinical Team Lead in conjunction with the Clinical manager, you will be responsible for the coordination the day to day operation of the clinical team at Advanced Care Scripts. Further, with input from Clinical Manager, you will provide day to day oversight of the other members of the clinical appeal team, RN, assessing tasks that require clinical oversight, assigning work to appropriate clinical staff member and ensuring that all clinical tasks are completed in a timely fashion. Some other critical components of this role is providing expert clinical guidance to clinical appeal staff and other ACS staff, training and mentorship to new clinical appeal staff members, and collaborate with physicians and their staff as needed to resolve clinical issues, obtain clinical data or prescriptions. Also you maintain nursing Continuing Education Units (CEUS)and seeks continuous learning opportunities.

Provides weekend and after hour clinical support as needed

Current active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in working state
Associates degree from a accredited college
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a medical/surgical clinical setting
At least 1 year of internal experience or equivalent Specialty Pharmacy experience
At least one year or more of experience leading employees
1 year or more of experience working as an appeals nurse
Ability to work with very little supervision
Excellent customer service skills
Familiar with Microsoft windows applications, Word, Excel, and Power Point
Bachelor degree in Nursing
