UHealth Information Technology is seeking a Clinical Systems Analyst that works to ensure the computer information systems in the UHealth system are working efficiently and effectively. The analyst provides necessary experience and knowledge to ensure all aspects of applications and systems development, build and implementation.

The candidate will analyze, define and apply technical knowledge to solve complex problems regarding business application systems. The Clinical Systems Analyst will work closely with team members, staff and other personnel to gain an understanding of objectives and requirements for the assigned clinical system and will be responsible for trouble shooting problems and challenges within the clinical information systems which may include software problems, hardware issues or even networking difficulties.

The minimum requirements are a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field. Epic certification and/or Licensing preferred.

At least 1-3 years of experience with product support of users in a healthcare environment required. Experience with project upgrade and implementation required. Clinical background and/or experience in a clinical setting and experience implementing, supporting, or using Epic Systems applications preferred.

Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.

Responsible for identifying issues, measuring cost/revenue savings, recommending solutions, and working with various departments to implement approved solutions. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in developing an effective audit process to review reservations/bookings. Compile issues/exceptions and maintain a priority list based on business materiality. Assist in selecting value areas to review and work with respective departments (DW, BI) to obtain reports to be used for detailed review and analysis. Perform daily detail reviewing of reservations/bookings for quality assurance purposes in accordance with company products, policies and procedures. Identify, summarize and document findings in a concise and easily comprehensible manner. Develop and track KPI's of key business drivers. Prepare cost-benefit analysis when presenting areas of improvement and recommending solutions. Work with various departments to execute approved solutions which may include creating/revising SOPS and applicable system enhancements. Keep current on existing and new reservation system areas and company products, policies and procedures, as applicable to the reservations/bookings review. Participate in team discussions and meetings to share learnings and provide feedback of issues/exceptions identified to management. Work with I.T. on prioritization of change requests and respective UAT efforts. Support Revenue Management as needed. Perform other job-related functions as assigned. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance or any equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and work experience. EXPERIENCE: 3 years of analytical work in business environment with strong preference from travel industry. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Highly familiar with Norwegian's reservation system (Seaware) and applicable company products, policies and procedures. Experience with QA testing, payment/cancellation schedules and business rules related to FIT or group bookings. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with special emphasis in Excel in order to navigate and use spreadsheets. Also, experience with Hyperion and SAP is preferable. Must be extremely accurate and detail oriented but also a "big picture" thinker to effectively present findings and action plans. Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and assist other team members as necessary. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines and handle stressful situations.
