Clinical Systems Analyst - DSP

Position Summary: The Clinical Systems Analyst - DSP provides system analysis, software implementation, user training, and support for all clinical systems maintained by the Information Systems Department specifically within the Deborah Specialty Physicians (DSP) physician offices. This position will be required to utilize their own vehicle to travel to the various DSP physician offices on an as-needed basis.

Experience

Required: 3 or more years' experience in supporting clinical information systems.

Education

Required: Bachelor's Degree in computer sciences or related field or equivalent experience.

License and Credentials

Required None

Preferred: None but knowledge of Meditech ambulatory systems is a significant bonus

Skills

Required:

• Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining EHR systems, preferably in a Physician Practice or ambulatory environment

• Demonstrated experience in the application of analytical methods of addressing business issues, with an emphasis on decision support analysis.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Experience working with databases and retrieving information from information systems.

• Excellent oral and written communication and inter-personal skills required.

• Excellent presentation skills.

• Strong facilitation skills - bringing disparate groups together to work through issues

• Demonstrated time-management and multi-tasking skills coupled with a keen ability to prioritize assignments.

• A desire to provide outstanding service, and attention to detail

• Process and technology knowledge of all parts of the ambulatory continuum of care, including revenue cycle

• Developing and implementing new procedures and processes to enhance the productivity, efficiency and workflow at all DSP practices

• Conduct various ad hoc analytical and reporting projects

• Participate in multifunctional project teams that evaluate, recommend and monitor the implementation of new initiatives.

FT Hours: 80 hours per pay
