Clinical Supervisor

Position Summary The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for assisting with planning, organizing, coordinating, implementing and evaluating the administrative operations and clinical practice activities on a twenty-four-hour basis; provides patient care services that are coordinated to provide a seamless, integrated system of care that is high value, cost-effective and customer focused. Core Duties and Responsibilities # ###Assists department manager in operational activities of unit # ###Responsible for ensuring the nursing performance according to unit policies # ###Recognizes changes in patient condition and responds appropriately. # ###Reprioritizes and delegates other responsibilities during emergency situations. # ###Remains calm and objective during emergencies; functions calmly and efficiently in periods of high activity. # ###Facilitates transfer of care to a higher level of care facility. # ###Keeps family/significant others informed of patient#s status. Minimum Requirements # ###Current NJ RN License # ###2 years nursing experience in an acute care setting # ###BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association # ###Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop employees # ###Intermediate computer skills, excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills # ###Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods with the ability to lift, push and pull Preferred Requirements # ###BSN ### # ###CCRN Additional information # # #To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum Requirements

• Current NJ RN License

• 2 years nursing experience in an acute care setting

• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
