As a clinical supervisor RN, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care within the express care setting.

Job Description:

The Role: Clinical Supervisor RN

Provides nursing leadership within a clinical outpatient setting during assigned shifts. This full-time position will consist of 50% Administrative duties and 50% patient care duties.

  • Growing practice with multiple service line specialties treating a diverse patient population.

The Work:

  • Provides leadership, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Responds to staff requests for assistance with providing or managing direct patient care in complex or difficult matters.

  • Determines, coordinates, and monitors the flow of patients within a clinical setting to maximize the use of the organization's resources and meet service-level objectives.

  • Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care and identifies any issues that affect desired patient outcomes. Coordinates patient care services with staff, physicians, and other departments.

  • Responds to complaints/conflicts and manages through established channels. Makes administrative decisions in the absence of the Practice Administrator and/or Nurse Manager.

You Have:

  • Active Maine RN license or the ability to obtain one in a timely fashion

  • At least 3 years of RN experience, with at least 1-2 years of supervisory experience is preferred

  • Medical office experience, preferred

  • Excellent teamwork and leadership skills

  • Proven and demonstrated critical thinking skills

  • Strong and effective written and oral communication skills
