LifeWorks NW Horizon/Hazelwood Residential Treatment Home programs serve adult males in a residential setting who are experiencing severe mental illness. This position provides coverage for two five-bed residential treatment homes for clients transitioning into the community.
PURPOSE: Oversees clinical and supervisory aspects of programs. Provides clinical services.
DAYS/HOURS: Position works daytime hours during the workweek (Monday through Friday).
PAY/BENEFITS: $50,143 to $54,530 per year. Full benefits.
Provides direct service, including facilitation of group and individual sessions, client evaluations and case management.
Involves treatment staff in assisting clients to reach their goals.
Provides regular supervision to milieu counselors.
Maintains accurate documentation of supervisory meetings.
Responsible for performance evaluations and performance concerns for program area.
Monitors employee productivity and documentation.
Performs day-to-day quality management tasks (e.g. chart audits).
Participates in program development.
Documents and maintains client records to ensure compliance with agency and contract guidelines and confidentiality.
Co-facilitates weekly clinical staff meetings
Provides crisis intervention and consultation as needed.
Attends psychiatric appointments with clients.
Completes required program reports timely and accurately.
Continually increases level of cultural sensitivity, awareness and competency.
Transports clients in LifeWorks NW and personal vehicle.
Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field (QMHP) required.
Demonstrated experience (3-5 years) in working with adults with severe mental illness. Must have completed two years of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health treatment setting.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Good computer skills including a functional knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel. Ability to master use of proprietary software including electronic health record system.
Demonstrates effective communication skills and maintains a cooperative working relationship with others in a culturally diverse environment.
Position requires the ability to drive clients in a LifeWorks NW and personal vehicle. Must have a valid driver's license, access to a personal vehicle, current auto insurance, and ability to meet LifeWorks NW driving requirements.
Requires ability to carry rotating pager for one week at a time and ability to respond immediately to crisis calls by phone and/or in person as needed.
