Personalized care together with advanced technology is what it means to be Community Strong Responsibilities Responsible for overall administration of specific treatment unit assigned. Supervises Social Workers and Counselors as well as students and volunteers assigned, to attain outpatient quality goals including completion of performance evaluations.

Responsible for compliance with hospital and regulatory documentation and documentation relating to billing and reimbursement requirements. Required to audit charts for proper documentation and provide training to staff if required. Responsible for the UR/QA process to assure proper retention, quality of care and proper documentation.

Responsible for coordinating the clinical intake process and case conferences to insure proper diagnostic and treatment plan formulation, and ongoing prescribed treatment. Responsible for the training of clinical staff in assessment, treatment planning, and multiple treatment modalities. Job duties include marketing program services to local community groups and organizations with reference to chemical dependency and co-occurring illness.

Required to remains current with OASAS regulations and new developments in changing healthcare. Required to remains current on policies and procedures of insurance and managed care (Commercial, Medicaid, Medicaid MC, Medicare and Medicare MC) to maintain appropriate reimbursement and to be audit ready. Maintains and prepare statistical data, reports, as required for agency, county and state, as assigned.

Responsible to moniter staff productivity and address productivity problems and obstacles. Required to follow St.

John's Riverside Hospital attendance policy.

Required to be familiar with or willing to learn and utilize Electronic Medical Records and Telehealth Services. Required to have a working knowledge of the use of Medication Assisted Treatment. Qualifications A Masters Degree in Social Work from an accredited school.

LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in the state of New York required. A minimum of three years of clinical experience in chemical dependency treatment is required. Must be computer literate and demonstrate an ability to use computers and program software. Strong communications skills including a demonstrated ability to communicate in writing is required.
