Essential Job Functions:
Collaborates with service team in the development of a treatment plan for clients to ensure continuity of care.
Works collaboratively with clinical and medical reviews to assure that all supports for clients served are conducted accurately, as well as ensuring that all care is appropriately documented in the electronic medical record.
Provides leadership to program staff to include, but not limited to:
In conjunction with Support Service Coordinator makes recommendations to RSA on hiring staff.
Provide supervision and oversight of new direct service staff, as needed.
In conjunction with RSA oversees Annual Performance reviews for assigned staff, and assist with identifying goals and performance objectives.
In partnership with the person being served, develops a treatment plan to support continuity of care.
Documents information and service provided in electronic data base assuring continuity of the service record and as a tool for communication with other team members.
Ensures completion of designated assessments of all clients.
Partners with the client to obtain collateral information from the person's support team such as family members, friends, case manager and other area programs, based on the person's preferences.
Obtains details of Advance Directives such as Mental Healthcare Power of Attorney and crisis plans to partner with the person to design and plan care...
Education, Licenses and Experience
Master's degree or further advanced degree in counseling or social work or one of the social sciences from an accredited college or university, required.
Minimum of two (2) years management experience preferred, but not required.
Designated as a Mental Health Professional in accordance with WAC 388-865-0150.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in direct treatment of persons with mental illness or emotional disturbance, such experience gained under the supervision of a mental health professional, preferred not required
Additional Requirements, Certifications and Qualifications
Current CPR and First Aid Certifications
Required to pass pre-placement physical examination
Will be required to pass the WATCH background check and RI background check
Completion of Therapeutic Options training prior to providing direct care.
Proof of Rubella and Hepatitis B immunity
Completion of HIV/Aids Training and Certification

Driving Requirements (by assignment)
Must possess a Washington Driver's license that is active and in good standing. NOE: Candidate must be at least twenty-three (23) years of age if driving a company vehicle, and twenty-one (21) years of age if driving a personal vehicle for agency business.
Must be able to comply with the agency's Driver's Safety Policy.
Proof of personal auto insurance with a minimum of $100,000.00 in liability if using personal vehicle for agency business.
Works in behavioral health clinical areas. Some risk involved in the event of agitated guests. Must possess Visual and Audio skills to complete job duties.
