Shift Details: Full time

  • 40 hours/week

Compensation: $68,000-$72,000 annual salary - based on experience

Location: 9220 Bass Lake Road, Suite 255, New Hope, MN 55428

About the job:

Clinically supervise and manage employees in the Mental Health Targeted Case Management program within the VOA Behavioral Health Division. This includes supervision of staff and coordination of assigned program components.

Essentials:

Clinical Supervision of Case Managers and Interns

  • Provide clinical supervision through in-person and/or face-to-face teleconferencing to assigned staff on a regular basis as directed by the program director to meet regulatory requirements.

  • Provide coverage for cases when Case Managers and Interns are absent.

  • Participate and facilitate monthly Case File Review meetings as required by regulatory agencies.

  • Document all supervisory activities in the Case Manager's or Intern's employee file.

  • Document the supervision of each client served by the supervised staff at least quarterly.

  • Manage case/referral assignment and assist employees in the management of caseload size.

  • Review and sign off on all service plans, reviews and discharge summaries as required by regulatory agencies.

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and develop staff to achieve established program objectives including providing quality services in a work environment reflecting teamwork and mutual respect.

  • Conduct annual performance reviews of all staff, including assessment of past year's accomplishments corresponding to objectives set in previous reviews, coming year objectives corresponding to current program goals, and professional development objectives.

Administration

  • Administratively supervise Case Managers and Interns to carry out job responsibilities.

  • Monitor and manage accountability to billing/billable units for assigned program or team.

  • Monitor assigned components of the budget for assigned program or team.

  • Implement the policies, procedures, and practices established for Volunteers of America Behavioral Health Division for the staff under their supervision and assure staff comply with

  • VOA and regulatory agencies' standards.

  • Maintain a work environment which respects and supports cultural responsivity, upholds VOA's values, and promotes staff engagement and healthy morale.

Program Planning

  • Assist the program director and division leaders with program development and implementation.

Community Relationships

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the State, the County, community providers, and other external stakeholders in the area of Targeted Case Management and Behavioral Health.

  • Assure program participant privacy is maintained by being knowledgeable and following HIPAA privacy and security regulation

Required Qualifications:

  • MSW or Masters degree in Behavioral Sciences

  • Currently licensed as a Mental Health Professional

  • Ability to be credentialed by MHCP and other third-party payers

  • Minimum of 3 years of service delivery experience
