Duties:CLIENT CARE Comprehensive psychosocial assessment of assigned patients Case consultations and management Accurate and timely documentation of assessments and care per accreditation standards, billing requirements, and regulatory statutes Development of service plans Confidentiality of all client information and records Systems advocacy and intervention Documentation for billing purposes Information and referral to appropriate community resources Participation in departmental and tribal initiatives in community health education and outreach Participation in wellness teams including collaborative patient management Provide services that are culturally appropriate Identify community health needs and create plans or projects to meet those needs Participate in quality improvement projects CLINICAL SUPERVISION RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide clinical supervision and recommendations to the behavioral health team to provide quality care Plan for implementation of co-occurring services Recommend continued education for staff in behavioral health and any required trainings Ensure continued clinical competency of staff Assist in recruitment, training, and mentoring new staff Coordinates peer review process and case consultation for providers Participate in updating policies and procedures for the department, including safety plans HOW TO APPLY: Send your resume and cover letter to: apply@squaxin.us Astrid Poste, Human Resources Director

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

A Master of Social Work degree from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education AND 4 years of full-time professional social work experience, 2 years of which must have been in a healthcare setting Must have additional 2 years of providing clinical supervision. LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical manuals and patient records.

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, co-workers, and public groups. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to understand with mathematical concepts such statistics. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Basic accounting skills.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several concrete variables.

Must have the ability to work with and relate to individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds. Must understand the ethical implications and patient confidentiality issues involved in this line of work, particularly in a small community. Must understand and accept their relationship and boundaries with patients and other staff members.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must be registered as a licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. All certifications must be without restrictions and has been in good standing for the last 2 years.
