Dynamic perfusion professional wanted! Possessing adaptability and experience with various perfusion programs and perfusion products will bring success in this role.

Our Cardiopulmonary Clinical Specialist will provide clinical support and training for the LivaNova United States Cardiopulmonary Sales Team. Your training and support of perfusionists on our portfolio of perfusion equipment and supplies will be critical to your success. Our products include the S5 Heart Lung Machine and accessories, CONNECT Electronic Data Management System, and CP heart-lung packs and family of oxygenators.

A quick glance into your job:

  • Covers ALL of the Western US with an 80% travel expectation (Candidate can reside somewhere in the Western US)

  • Provides complex clinical problem-solving services to customers, sales, marketing, and other internal functional departments

  • Coordinates directs and delivers clinical training programs for cardiopulmonary products

  • Provides support for product trials and introductions of cardiopulmonary products

  • Assists in designing and developing clinical training programs and documentation

Realistically, you will need to have a minimum of 5 years of active or previous clinical experience with cardiopulmonary perfusion product therapy. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is a must.

You will need a firm grasp of medical and physiological facts and be able to package them into a cohesive communication model for customers and internal personnel to understand. Your personality is key in this role. Someone who approaches solving complex and unusual clinical/therapeutic/technical problems and interactions with customers and sales personnel in a positive, proactive customer service manner during stressful situations is very successful in the role.

Be prepared to provide recent examples of working directly with product managers, sales, and cross-functionally with other groups to coordinate and assist with product development and clinical validations. Your experience in assisting customers and sales personnel through the provision of sales training and clinical in-service assistance will also be critical to your success.
