The Opportunity:
We're seeking a motivated individual for a pivotal role in our organization, blending the realms of science and sales seamlessly. As a key player in our team, you'll delve into the world of clinical assays, leveraging your scientific expertise to drive sales and foster relationships with our valued customers. As a Clinical Specialist, you will be the driving force behind the promotion and sales of cutting-edge High Medical Value Assays (HMVAs) to strategically identified customers within assigned territories. Your expertise will be instrumental in crafting and executing HMVA strategies in alignment with revenue objectives. Collaborating closely with our sales team, you'll spearhead engagements with Cardiologists, Neurologists, Infectious Disease physicians, Emergency Physicians, Laboratory Medical Directors, and other clinical specialists. While your specialized knowledge in specific disease areas is invaluable, you'll also thrive in expanding your expertise into adjacent fields as our priorities evolve. This role promises constant growth, requiring both creativity and adaptability to navigate the dynamic landscape of clinical sales.
This is a field based role - the territory is California, Nevada, Hawaii & Guam. You must live within 50 miles of the territory.

Attend local and national professional trade shows and events and promote products to all customers
Capable of working unpredictable schedule that may occasionally change on short notice due regional or customer demands
Accustomed to tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks
Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment
Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects
Ability to travel 50% within assigned region and/or outside assigned region
Capable of engaging customers in selling conversations as needed and as directed by Regional Business Manager(s) and direct leader
Who you are:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
5+ years relevant sales or equivalent experience
Preferred:
Ideal candidate to have a minimum of two years of sales experience; three years of previous related clinical/practical experience in cardiometabolic, neurology infectious disease and/or women's health
DCLS, PhD, MLS (ASCP)cm, or MT (ASCP)cm strongly preferred
Strong preference working in hospital or reference laboratory setting with a laboratory-specific education or experience in clinical care
Business-to-business experience highly desired
Medical background/sales experience, laboratory experience, and/or managed care knowledge desirable
Knowledge of Roche Diagnostics processes and product portfolio
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $113,600.00 - $211,000.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position is eligible to earn incentive compensation that is calculated and paid in accordance with the applicable Incentive Compensation Plan for the role.
