Provide technical, educational, operational and sales support to assist the district in meeting CRHF sales and customer service objectives. CRHF seeks candidates who will meet our customer expectations by striving without reserve for the greatest possible reliability and quality in our products, processes and systems by being accountable, having a voice and taking action.


  • Technical Support

o Successfully completes CRHF Field Technical Training including online and field-based training

o Performs checks/interrogations of all CRHF medical device systems post sign-off

o Supports implants of all CRHF products post sign-off

o Provides on-call support as needed on evenings and weekends post sign-off

o Provide troubleshooting support as requested

  • Operational Support

o Assures completion of patient registration and any other required hospital documentation

o Helps manage consignment inventory and trunk inventory once obtained

o Provides additional inventory support to meet customer needs

o Maintains software on programmers throughout the district as directed

o Assists with managing daily coverage logistics as needed

  • Educational Support

o Educates and trains physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on products or solutions for which training has been completed

o Assists with educating and training new Clinical Specialists and Sales Representatives post sign-off

  • Sales Support

o Partners with DSM, Sales Reps and DM to learn market dynamics and local customer motivations and needs; has a basic understanding of how Medtronic CRHF products and solutions offer value to the customer

o Assists with obtaining customer POs throughout the quarter

o Has a basic understanding of the competitive landscape

o Independently identifies customer needs and opportunities and provides feedback to Sales Rep(s) to support sales objectives

  • Ongoing Technical Development

o Stays up to date on new products, solutions and patient management offerings

o Completes all assigned training in a timely manner

  • Performs other related duties as assigned



  • A High School Diploma PLUS a minimum 7 years of work experience in the healthcare or engineering field, OR
  • An Associate's Degree PLUS a minimum 5 years of work experience in the healthcare or engineering field, OR
  • A Bachelor's Degree PLUS a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the healthcare or engineering field, OR
  • A Bachelor's Degree and currently enrolled in a certificate program from a pacing school like ATI or PrepMD and 3 years of prior professional experience


  • Thorough working knowledge of medical terminology and the medical device industry

  • Proven ability to build/maintain positive relationships with peers and colleagues across organization levels

  • Strong work ethic in accomplishing objectives of the position

  • Expertise with Microsoft tools & other applications (i.e.,

  • Ability to meet vendor credentialing requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication skills

  • Ability to coordinate/participate in numerous tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment in an organized manner while meeting deadlines

  • Clinical Specialists are required to be within their assigned territory each day to be available as unscheduled needs arise. CS's are required to work a number of weekend and holidays during the quarter, as determined by local management. Weeknight call coverage is the primary responsibility of the Sales Rep, however, at times, business and/or geographical needs require a CS to be scheduled for week night coverage as approved by regional management.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy. In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application.

VIEW JOBS 11/1/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-30T00:00 JOB PURPOSE: Manages clinical services on assigned floor at the Buckhead campus, including but not limited to nursing staff and related medical support staff including Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Medical Assistants (MAs), and ancillary services personnel. Enforces the operational policies, objectives and initiatives of the physician group practice. Works collaboratively to support the Buckhead based physicians. Implements and oversees operational activities and programs to ensure the successful achievement of the business plans. Ensures that processes are followed to offer high quality clinical services to patients. Also manages other assigned clinical services including ancillary services, float pool, and specialty clinics. Supports assigned Centers of Excellence (COE). Works collaboratively with the Front Office Manager and the Buckhead Practice Administrator. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Provides direct supervision to nurses and subordinate staff, ensuring appropriate assessment and treatment of patients' medical conditions. a. Participates in the process of interviewing, hiring, training, appraising, handling corrective actions, addressing complaints, and resolving issues related to assigned supervisors and their direct reporting personnel. b. Serves as key problem solving resource for staff on patient care issues. c. Studies practice trends and suggests solutions to ongoing patient care problems. 2. Compiles and analyzes data on patient outcomes, quality assurance results, budget/goal achievement, and performance/productivity; prepares reports for the Buckhead Administrator. a. Compiles and analyzes patient outcomes data to continually improvement quality services. b. Works collaboratively with the Buckhead Administrator and Buckhead Medical Director regarding PHI quality initiatives. 3. Manages nursing and clinical staffing to ensure appropriate coverage in the office. Completes the staffing schedule for assigned nursing personnel in collaboration with the other PHI Manager of Clinical Services. a. Manages staffing to support the PHI practice. b. Completes the schedule in collaboration with the other Manager of Clinical Services. 4. Ensures that office practices follow PHI office policies and procedures; adhere to all Piedmont Healthcare Corporation policies and procedures and local, state and federal laws, rules and regulations; and maintain all JCAHO, OSHA and other standards relating to the operation of a physician office involved in the practice of medicine. a. Complies with Piedmont Healthcare Corporation and PHI policies and procedures. b. Complies with local, state, and federal rules and regulations. c. Supports ongoing compliance with accreditation criteria. 5. Works collaboratively with the other PHI Mangers to facilitate effective office operations including, but not limited to, staffing, implementation of operational processes and communication with the physicians. a. Participates as an active member of the Buckhead management team. b. Communicates effectively with the Practice Administrator and the other Managers. c. Actively participates in collaborative problem solving to enhance operations. d. Communicates effectively with the physicians regarding Clinical Services. 6. Works with clinical personnel and physicians to ensure the maximization of appropriate professional services reimbursement. a. Supports an effective clinical documentation and charge capture process in the clinics. 7. Establishes and maintains systems for the purchase of medical supplies and equipment, establishes and maintains inventory, and establishes a maintenance evaluation program to ensure timely repairs and the proper functioning of equipment. a. Coordinates purchase of medical supplies. b. Establishes and maintains an inventory system for medical supplies. c. Establishes a maintenance evaluation program to ensure proper functioning of equipment. 8. Assists the Buckhead Administrator to prepare and maintain departmental budgets and monitors the execution of the budget. a. Participates in the development of the Buckhead campus budget. b. Manages assigned cost centers of the Buckhead budget to meet or exceed financial performance. 9. Meets regularly with office employees to bring them up-to-date on activities and new policies and to discuss problems and opportunities. a. Communicates effectively with assigned Clinical Services personnel. b. Holds regular staff meetings with Clinical Services supervisors and personnel. 10. Supports development of assigned Centers of Excellence (COEs) in coordination with the COE Medical Directors. a. Attends assigned COE meetings. b. Meets with the COE Medical Director(s) as needed. c. Supports development activities of the assigned COEs. MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Five years professional clinical experience is required with three years management or supervisory experience. MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Current Georgia RN licensure. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification.
