  • MSW/LMSW/LCSW or Psy.D/Ph.D in Clinical or Counseling Psychology. Licensed preferred. License eligible must be licensed within one year of hire.

  • Candidates must have a minimum of one year experience working with children and families.

Job Summary:

The Clinical team at Astor Services for Children & Families Residential Programs (RTC and RTF) seeks a licensed or license-eligible Social Worker or Psychologist to join our team. The Clinical Specialist leads the multidisciplinary team to provide evidenced based services to the children and families. The Clinical Specialist provides individual, group, and family therapy, conducts risk and behavioral assessments, and coordinates services within the agency and with outside providers and referral sources. Programming within the residential programs is guided by family driven and youth guided principles with a focus on integrating principles of CARE (Children and Residential Experiences). Opportunities to teach and supervise in our APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship program and ample opportunity for professional development and training are available.
