Description

The Global Clinical Marketing Specialist uses their product knowledge as well as their technical and clinical expertise to support the implementation of the marketing strategy for across the different products/solutions of the Elekta portfolio .

Working in collaboration with the Business Lines Product Marketing teams and Portfolio teams, the Global Clinical Marketing specialist develops compelling clinical evidence / proof points / narratives to support the overall products/solutions marketing stories for external promotion (and for internal education) by leveraging a deep understanding of the possible clinical applications & workflows on Elekta's solutions, as well as a deep knowledge of both the competitive landscape and the technology. They will also drive and ensure the consistency & alignment of the clinical narrative per anatomy/indication cross-portfolio, as well as per technique (e.g. SRS/SRT), leading to the production of appropriate marketing assets (e.g. virtual patient, virtual clinic etc)

The development of the proof points (case studies, white papers, publications etc) will be achieved in-house and through close clinical collaborations with a number of reference sites. The clinical development, management and clinical collaboration projects will be managed by the Global Clinical Marketing specialist.

In addition to producing clinical evidence, the Global Clinical Marketing specialist will support clinical education and sales enablement of regional and global sales and marketing teams, as well as taking a leading role for building and scripting demo databases and associated clinical stories that will be used at congresses, roadshows, events, etc The role is equally expected to contribute to the world class customer experience standards set within the Elekta Briefing Centres through demos, support staff trainings and more generally acting as a host for visits where and when required.

Lastly, the deep clinical expertise of the Global Clinical Marketing specialist will be critical to support the roll-out of global / regional strategic programmes (such as F1) for customer retention whilst ensuring knowledge transfer to local Elekta staff where applicable and possible, as well as occasional (business-critical) advanced applications activities and regional normalization of application trainers and support personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Work with at risk and Key customers to address concerns and improve Elekta Clinical Solutions perception through SW and HW combinations

  • Develop projects/programmes to deliver relevant proof points either needed to fill a competitive gap or seen as an opportunity to create a competitive edge for Elekta's solutions

  • Manage reference sites & act as a point of contact between them and the rest of Elekta

  • Provide market intelligence and feedback to encourage collaborative Product Management and Product Marketing Team activities and clinical workflows integration

  • Work with and build key clinical partners with a view to increasing representation at national and international conferences and events, and through scientific publications

  • Assist and promote engagement in Plan Comparison studies and any other type of studies required that can help promote the superiority of Elekta's offering

  • Attend and participate in the organization of regional workshops in conjunction with customers and local support structures

  • Provide sales demonstrations and support with key customers and prospective opportunities

  • Together with Global Sales Enablement, Identify internal training needs and provide advanced support for mentoring staff including Support, Trainers, and Sales

  • Maintain up to date clinical product knowledge and trends including competitor products

  • Develop techniques to improve and streamline clinical workflows

Relevant Knowledge, skills and competencies

  • Medical Physics or RT (T) certification or BSc degree in Therapeutic Radiography or similar fields or equivalent is required

  • Treatment Planning/Dosimetry (i.e CMD) certification or equivalent is desirable

  • Treatment Planning (Monaco, GammaPlan, Oncentra Brachy) support, training experience, and ability to produce high quality plans is required

  • Minimum of 5 years clinical experience or proven clinical expertise in the industry

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for product demonstration, customer training and support

  • Fluent English and other European Languages are highly appreciated

  • Travel up to 50% both domestically and internationally is required

Location: One of the main Elekta offices (Crawley, Stockholm or Veenendaal)
