As a Best of State "Special Education" award winner five years in a row, Kids On The Move (KOTM) provides services throughout Utah to children with special needs and their families. Our non-profit mission is to support the development of young children through five key programs: Early Intervention, Early Head Start, the Autism Center, Respite Care, and Family Mental Health.
We are seeking a Clinical Social Worker (CSW) to be responsible for delivering quality mental health therapy with children, teens, adults, and families across our agency's programs. The CSW assists clients with a variety of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, disability, and coping with complex health care needs.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Demonstrated ability to create and maintain strong therapeutic relationships.
Treatment skills appropriate to the population served.
Ability to navigate EHR.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, problem solve, and resolve conflicts for individuals, couples and groups.
Ability to identify and arrange community resources specific to individual clients.
Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the clients served.
Knowledge of and experience with working with children and teens with mental health conditions.
Preference will also be given to candidates who are bilingual English/Spanish, but this is not a requirement.
Strong preference for candidates with experience in play therapy and TFCBT.
The successful candidate will work with clients ranging in age from 1 - 18 with an average caseload of 45-50.
Complete mental health evaluations through interviews and psychosocial assessments.
Providing accurate and timely diagnoses.
Develop treatment plans and treatment goals in conjunction with the licensed treatment team.
Engages in evidence based mental health treatment to provide emotional and behavioral support.
Identifies needs and provides collaborative, linking, referring, and monitoring services to connect families with community resources.
