Clinical Services Supervisor (Independence, KY)

Crossroads Treatment Centers in Independence, KY is seeking a Clinical Services Supervisor in our OTP clinic.



Position Summary:
This position is responsible for monitoring the performance of the person supervised and providing

regular, documented individual or group consultation, guidance, and instruction with respect to the clinical skills and

competences of the person supervised. The Clinical Supervisor is also responsible for approving assessments and

individualized service plans, as appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

Be a certified alcohol and drug counselor certified pursuant to KRS 309.080 to 309.089 & have 4000 hours of clinical work experience post certification; or and individual who is licensed or certified as one (1) of the following requirements listed below:

A. Licensed clinical social worker licensed for the independent practice of clinical social work by the Kentucky Board of Social Work in accordance with KRS 335.100

B. Certified social worker with 6000 hours of post certification clinical practice in psychiatric social work licensed by the Kentucky Board of Social Work in accordance with KRS 335.080

C. Licensed marriage and family therapist licensed by the Kentucky Board of Licensure of Marriage and Family Therapists in accordance with the provisions of KRS Chapter 335; or

D. A certified or licensed professional who has completed eighty (80) hours o training in alcohol and other drug abuse counseling, within four (4) years immediately prior to date of assuming responsibility as a clinician in the AODE or within two (2) years immediately after assuming responsibility as a clinician in the AODE; and 4000 hours of work experience in the alcohol and other drug treatment field post degree.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties that are assigned.

Provide supervision to the centers counselors in a group or individual setting

Provide documentation for the hours supervised

Guide and instruct counselors with clinical skills and competence of substance abuse treatment

Approve assessments and ISPs as needed

required to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.

The contractor occasionally lifts/carries paperwork, files, office supplies, up to 20 lbs., pushes/pulls exerting up to 5-10

lbs. force, opening doors, file drawers, pushing files in drawers, and kneeling/crouching and/or ability to reach lower file

drawers, file stretching to store of retrieve materials. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and

the ability to adjust focus. Frequent sitting at desk or computer while typing, completing paperwork, or meeting with

patients.

This associate will be part of the building maintenance/custodial team responsible for the general upkeep of the building and grounds and working to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for patrons. The holder of this position will also function as a building floater able to fill in on public service desks, tend to the needs of patrons using public meeting spaces and assist with building projects, programs and events. Evening and weekend hours required. Responsibilities: Principal Responsibilities: * General cleaning of the building including but not limited to: * Emptying and cleaning waste cans and recycling bins * Vacuuming, dusting, mopping and all general cleaning of library hard surfaces and furniture as needed and as directed by branch manager and morning maintenance staff. * Clean, disinfect and restock public and staff restrooms as needed * Light building maintenance including but not limited to: * Replace light bulbs and batteries. * Light plumbing related tasks such as unclogging toilets and drains * Surface painting. * Provide basic reference services and readers' advisory services at the Public Services Desks; covers breaks and works public desks during staffing shortages and scheduled times. * Assist with building wide projects as needed. These could include but are not limited to things like shelving, rearranging, weeding, inventory and display of the collection and furniture. * May make deliveries to and help at other branch locations and/or assist with offsite operations. * Grounds maintenance when needed: remove snow from sidewalks; clean parking lot and landscaped areas. * Prepares meetings and conference rooms for use, arranging tables and chairs as requested. Assists with audio/visual and equipment needs of room users and staff. Clean-up and reset room at end of meetings. * Assist with the logistics of library programming, including special after hours programs. * Assist with retrieval of camera footage for security purposes as requested by officer on duty or manager on duty. * Responsible for assisting with daily closing procedures of the building * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Valid driver's license required. * High school graduate or equivalent. * Custodial and/or library experience preferred. * Ability to use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools; including but not limited to floor cleaners, pressure washers, leaf blowers and snow removal equipment, for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture and grounds. * Able to work independently. * Ability to work well with other staff and outside vendors. * Ability to learn and operate computer software applications necessary for basic library and building operations. * Ability to troubleshoot issues of audio/visual nature * Ability to accurately follow directions and adhere to all safety standards including Blood Borne Pathogen cleaning procedures. * May require KDLA library certification. * Must be able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. * Must be able to climb and work at heights of up to 20 ft. * Must be able to move up to 100 lbs. on a dolly.
