Prince William County is looking for a full time Clinical Services Caseworker/ Employment Specialist in our Supported Employment Program.

This position qualifies for a hiring bonus of $5,000. This bonus will be paid in two equal installments as funds permit. The first installment of $2,500 is payable upon the County's first regular pay date following your position start and the final $2,500 installment will be payable on the pay date following the completion of probation.

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

Our team provides evidenced-based, client centered services that assist individuals to successfully obtain and maintain competitive employment in the community. As an Employment Specialist you will manage a very diverse caseload where your daily tasks will be to use your creativity and problem-solving skills not only to support your clients but our stakeholders as well.

Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in rehabilitation counseling, social work, psychology, counseling, or other related human services field and 2 years of experience in the delivery of human services for adults with Serious Mental Illness (SMI).

Preferences:

Master's degreein rehabilitation counseling, social work, psychology, counseling, or other related human services.

Experience in the delivery of human services for adults with Serious Mental Illness (SMI).

Experience working in an agency providing behavioral healthcare.

Experience providing vocational services to adults diagnosed with SMI other co-occurring

disorders, adults on the autism spectrum and Mild Intellectual Disabilities.

Understanding of the American with Disability Act.

Experience working with the Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS).

Experience collaborating with the business community.

Experience with managing very active caseloads requiring high organizational skills and

working independently in the community.

Bilingual English Spanish

Work Incentive Specialist Advocate Certification.

Experience working with school counselors/ Student Pre-Employment Services.

Special Requirements:

Must possess a valid driver's license;

Must pass DMV record check;

Must pass TB test;

Offerof employment is contingent upon the candidate passing a fingerprint based National

Criminal History Record Check;

Certification in First Aide and Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation, as required.

Child Protective Services Requirements:Effective 1999, mandated by the Department of

Behavioral Health and Developmental Services 12VA35-105-400 rules and Regulations for

Licensing Providers by the Department of Behavioral Health and Development Services related to Criminal Registry Checks, a search of the registry of founded complaints of child abuse and neglected maintained by the Department of Social Services.

Work Schedule:Monday -Friday

Occasional evenings and weekend hours to support your client's employment success.

Starting Salary Range: $74,217.00 - $88,167.00
