Job Summary

The clinical department on the campus of the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center is looking for an enthusiastic Clinical Services Administrative Assistant; providing technical and administrative clerical support is key in managing the office to ensure administrative affairs are addressed promptly and efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling and clerical tasks for Clinical Department Directors Manage the various schedules within the office so the administrative and network affairs are addressed promptly and efficiently

  • Coordinate and maintain Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) for Board-sponsored didactics

  • Coordinate performance reviews and the quality assurance process

  • Preparation, collection, and dissemination of information, memorandums, and mail

  • Perform various clerical functions such as, transcription; copying and distributing documents; processing legal documents; collecting, tracking and summarizing data; overseeing administrative record management and movement; maintaining current employee and patient information systems, ordering and maintaining of supplies

  • Schedule, train and give technical guidance to co-workers


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Customer Services skill sufficient to provide information to clients, including phone calls and walk-in contacts in helpful and courteous manner.

  • Data Entry skills sufficient to create database records and update entries or create and apply the basics of spreadsheets and supply/retrieve information in databases.

  • Database Management skills sufficient to maintain database systems and records as assigned.

  • Desktop publishing skills sufficient to produce materials and develop and maintain mailing lists and other documentation accurately and with proficiency.

  • Dictaphone/Tape transcription training/experience or ability to type accurately from recorded copy.

  • Spreadsheets skills sufficient to develop and modify basic spreadsheets; and sort and extract data

  • Typing/Keyboarding skills sufficient to complete a variety of reports, letters and data summaries.

  • Word processing skills sufficient to develop and modify a variety of correspondence, records and reports; perform mail merges, develop forms and charts.
